Earlier this week, Premier Kathy Dunderdale told a business audience in St. John's that unions are among the reasons why opportunities with large projects in Newfoundland and Labrador may be missed.
Are unions a closed shop, and not doing enough to train apprentices? Lana Payne, president of the Federation of Labour, tackles the complicated issue in an interview with Here & Now's Jonathan Crowe.
