A restless spirit and a touring band put Irish singer Chris Hennessy on the road decades ago, but a stop in Newfoundland changed all that.
Hennessy has been calling Newfoundland and Labrador home for years, and has tapped into the province's rich vein of traditional and acoustic music during his career.
Hennessy is Jamie Fitzpatrick's featured guest on The Performance Hour this weekend on CBC Radio. You can hear the program on CBC Radio One on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. NT, and on Radio 2 on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. NT.
