She’s won both the Percy Janes First Novel Award and the Fresh Fish Award for Emerging Writers for her novel Skin Room. It was shortlisted for the Winterset Award and the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Prize.
Tilley founded her own theatre company, She Said Yes, in 2002 and celebrates the first decade of that company this year.
One of the celebrations is the presentation of a Neutral Mask workshop this year during the annual Women’s Work Festival, held in February.
She spoke to Weekend Arts Magazine host Mack Furlong about the workshop this week — click here to listen to that interview.
