David Clarke was on a flight travelling from Halifax to St. John's Wednesday when it was diverted to Charlottetown, P.E.I. because of engine trouble.

The plane, carrying 93 passengers and five crew, immediately went into shutdown mode about 20 minutes into the flight when pilots reportedly felt a vibration in one of the plane's two engines. Passengers were then told one of the two engines were out.
