Second suspect arrested in St. John's shooting death

A second man believed to have been involved in the shooting death of Nick Winsor on Saturday in St. John's has been arrested.
The RNC apprehended the man from Paradise on Wednesday during a traffic stop on Michener Ave. in Mount Pearl, driving what police believe was the car used the night of the killing.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday in St. John's, where he will face charges of second-degree murder and attempted murder.
Winsor, 20, was shot outside a Portugal Cove Road home in what sources tell CBC News was a botched robbery attempt.
Philip Wayne Pynn, 25, was taken into custody Monday and charged on Tuesday with second-degree murder and attempted murder in the same case.
Const. Suzanne FitzGerald said investigators are not ruling out more arrests stemming from Saturday's shooting.
"We're looking into whether or not there were any other parties either involved in the murder in any capacity or present during the murder as well," FitzGerald said.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is still looking for the gun used in the killing.
