St. John's fast-food worker sent to hospital

A fast-food employee in St. John's was treated in hospital early Tuesday morning after an accident in the kitchen.
Police say the worker at the Subway on Topsail Road was spraying oven cleaner and got some in his eyes.
He was taken to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's where his eyes were flushed.
Occupational health and safety officials are expected to investigate the incident.
