A limousine company in St. John's is worried that police are going to crack down on all businesses that offer their clients a chance to party on the road.

A driver with the Party Bus was fined Saturday when police found open alcohol bottles and teenagers as the vehicle was parked at the Rooms in St. John's.

According the law, it is illegal to have opened alcohol containers in any vehicle.

Another company that carries partying customers worries it will be next.

"If they give a zero tolerance on any alcohol at all, including adults, the buses and limos could all be parked…if they're not allowed to have as much as a bottle of champagne onboard," said Ross Squires, owner of the Memories Forever limousine service.

The Party Bus has not returned phone calls from CBC News.
