Emergency crews responded to three separate accidents on a St. John's highway Thursday evening.
Rain had made driving conditions slick on the northeast Avalon Peninsula.
Within a 90-minute period, crews were called to three accidents on the Outer Ring Road.
Two of the incidents involved rollovers near the connection to Team Gushue Highway.
Several people were taken to hospital, but no details were available on the extent of their injuries.
