Controversial St. John’s salvage yard to expand

St. John's City Council has voted to allow a controversial expansion of an auto salvage yard in the Shea Heights area.
Strickland's Auto asked the city to rezone a strip of land so it can expand its parking lot.
An area resident told CBC News that the salvage yard is already an eyesore and allowing the business to expand will only compound the problem.
