A second suspect in an armed robbery in Grand Falls-Windsor last week, a man police warned could be armed and dangerous, was taken into custody early Tuesday evening.
Few details were available about the arrest of Trevor Legge of Badger, a community in central Newfoundland.
The RCMP said earlier that two men broke into a home in Grand Falls-Windsor last Tuesday. A man in the home was attacked and robbed, police said.
Shannon Christopher Bennett, 29, of Gander, appeared in court Tuesday and was charged with breaking and entering, robbery, assault with a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.
He is in custody until another court appearance Wednesday.
Police said Legge, 27, would face the same charges.
