Newfoundland and Labrador's Health Department has once again expanded its list of people who can get the swine flu vaccine on a priority basis because they're deemed at high risk of developing complications if they get the virus.

Health Minister Jerome Kennedy said Sunday that everybody under the age of 65 who has a chronic illness, such as diabetes, bowel disease and cardiac disease, is now eligible.

The announcement that the criteria for the vaccine would be loosened again came on the same day Kennedy confirmed that a seventh person in the province had died from H1N1-related complications.

Kennedy said the woman wouldn't be publicly identified for privacy reasons, but he did say she was 29 years old and lived on the east coast of Newfoundland.

"This lady had underlying conditions," Kennedy told reporters, "as we've seen with many of the people who have died to date."

Children in Grades 4 to 6 also will start getting the vaccine in schools starting on Monday.
