An annual telethon for Newfoundland and Labrador's pediatric hospital set a fundraising record this weekend.
Donations to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation reached $2,343,790 by the time the telethon signed off Sunday night.
The telethon was broadcast Saturday and Sunday on CBC Television in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Funds will be used for medical equipment, as well as for research and training.
