Threat leads to Goose Bay high school lockdown: RCMP

A high school in central Labrador was locked down Monday after a student allegedly threatened a teacher.
Officials at Mealy Mountain Collegiate in Happy Valley-Goose Bay locked down the high school for about 20 minutes.
During that time, students were kept inside their classrooms and exit doors were locked.
RCMP said officers responded to a call from the school around 12 p.m.
A 17-year-old male student was arrested. RCMP said the teen was expected to appear in court on Monday afternoon on a charge of uttering threats.
RCMP said no weapons were involved in the incident.
