An intensive weekend search failed to find a man reported missing in a small community north of St. John's.
Terry Gladney, 49, was reported missing on Friday evening, although he was last seen at about 1 a.m. Wednesday, near the Beach House Room and Suites in Portugal Cove-St. Philip's.
Terry Gladney, seen in this photo released by police, was reported missing late Friday.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said a friend had dropped Gladney off at the business.
Police in the search were joined by a helicopter, the Canadian Coast Guard and the Rovers volunteer ground search team this weekend.
Const. Shawn O'Reilly said Monday that while the search effort has been reduced, it's not over.
"We're focused on certain areas [that have] come to the attention of our investigators or areas he's been known to frequent. So some areas are going to be searched again," he said.
"But the [comprehensive] ground search has concluded.… Right now he is a missing person, and our focus is to try to search as many areas as possible hoping to find him."
The search was focused along the shoreline of Portugal Cove.
Gladney is described as being about five-foot-one and weighing about 110 pounds. He has green eyes and short black hair.
The RNC said Gladney is believed to have been wearing blue jeans, a waist-length navy blue winter coat, and off-white winter boots with fur trim.
O'Reilly said the police will not draw any conclusions on what may have happened to Gladney.
