The search for a man who went missing March 16 near Bonavista on Newfoundland's northeast coast has been called off.
Police said 58-year-old Tommy Mifflin, who is from Bonavista, is presumed to have drowned.
Mifflin was last seen riding his mountain bike along the shoreline near Cape Bonavista, wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and a black cap.
Police found Mifflin's bike and some of his clothing near the shoreline during a weekend search.
The RCMP, a ground search and rescue team and the coast guard vessel Sir Wilfred Grenfell took part in the search.
