The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is keeping a tight lid on information about a St. Philip's couple whose remains were found in a wooded thicket this summer.
The RNC announced Monday that the human remains were those of Kimberley Lockyer and Dale Worthman, who were last seen alive in 1993.
RNC Chief Joe Browne said police are being tight-lipped about many details of the case, including what "foreign objects" were found near the bodies, and which helped identify the bodies.

"There are certain key pieces that we simply can't release," Browne told reporters Monday.
Police have said Lockyer and Worthman died of gunshot wounds.
However, they will not comment on the type of firearm used, how many shots were fired, where Lockyer and Worthman were killed, or the depth of the gravesite where their bodies were found.
Joe Browne, chief of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, says information on the Lockyer-Worthman double homicide needs to be guarded for now.

Browne said police will also not reveal what led them this summer to the burial site, off a dirt road leading from Thorburn Road, northwest of St. John's.
"If certain things that occur that are only known by the person or persons responsible, we have to keep it limited to that," Browne said.
"This is a very serious file, as you can appreciate."
The case — now officially considered a double homicide — is still open. The RNC said a previous offer of $50,000 for information on the case is still on the table.
Simon Avis, Newfoundland and Labrador's chief medical examiner, said identification of the bodies was aided by comparison with dental records, as well as the availability of soft tissue remains.
"The environment in which they were buried … allowed preservation of the bodies," Avis said.
