Stabbing in St. John's home leads to woman's arrest
Police have arrested and charged a 46-year-old woman with aggravated assault, and assault causing bodily harm in the west end of St. John's.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to a house on Cowan Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
A woman, 47, was taken to hospital with serious injuries that police said are consistent with a stabbing.
Police said the two women know each other, but did not release any other information about the case.
The RNC investigation is continuing.
