Special magazine issue focusing on Churchill River
Them Days magazine in Labrador is looking for people to submit stories about the Churchill River for a special upcoming issue.
Editor Aimee Chaulk said the magazine received money from Nalcor for the March edition.
However, she said people have the wrong impression about the focus of the issue.
"They think it's about Muskrat Falls," she said.
"It's not just about the falls; we're talking about the entire river – the whole length of it."
She wanted to clarify that it's more about the history of the river and the people who have lived near it.
"It is not to say goodbye to the river, it's just, we just want to tell the story of the river," she said.
Chaulk also said she hopes people will submit letters and photographs about trapping, and anything else connected to the river.
