Sharks sink IceCaps 3-2 in shootout

Despite forcing overtime for the second game in as many nights, the St. John's IceCaps fell to the Worcester Sharks 3-2 in a shootout Friday night at Mile One Centre.

Despite forcing overtime for the second game in as many nights, the St. John's IceCaps fell to the Worcester Sharks 3-2 in a shootout Friday night at Mile One Centre.

Jason Jaffray and Jerome Samson had goals for the IceCaps, while Eddie Pasquale made 21 saves — along with another six in the shootout, in a losing effort. 

Eric O'Dell and John Albert both scored in the shootout.

The IceCaps and Sharks close out their three-game series on home ice on Saturday night, when St. John's looks for the win to take five of a possible six points from Worcester.
