The RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor is investigating a rash of sexual assaults in the community.
According to police, there have been four unrelated cases in the last week.
All of the victims in the incidents are minors.
Const. Ian Dollimount said police are looking into the sexual assaults, and are concerned about the sudden spike.
"That number is actually really unusual for us. It's really high, higher than normal, and obviously one report of sexual assault is one too many," said Dollimount.
Two men have been charged with sexual interference so far. They have been released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
A third man is in custody on the same charge, and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
