Two men, one who was using a wheelchair, were sent to hospital on Wednesday after being struck by vehicles in separate incidents on the Northeast Avalon.
A 65-year-old man was listed in serious but stable condition after a pickup truck struck him on a road in Paradise.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the man was travelling with the flow of traffic in his wheelchair when a pickup struck him after making a left turn from Karwood Drive to Kestrel Drive.
The incident happened late Wednesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the RNC said an 18-year-old was riding his bike on Mundy Pond Road after 10:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle.
Police said the teen's life was not at risk.
The RNC is investigating the incident.
