Search for Albert Brake, missing in Trout River, suspended
The RCMP has suspended the search for the body of a missing Trout River man, who was last seen swimming at a local beach Sunday evening.
Police said they've looked in all probable areas for Albert Brake, 47, with no results.
Earlier this week, a dive team looked in the waters in the area, but police suspended dive operations until they receive new information.
Meanwhile, the RCMP continue their search for a Cow Head man who has been missing since Tuesday.
The dive team and the Bonne Bay Ground Search and Rescue Team are currently in the community to continue their search.
It is believed the man ended up in the water after driving an all-terrain vehicle near a wharf. The ATV has since been recovered.
Parks Canada closed the beach in Shallow Bay while searchers looked for the man.
The beach has since been reopened.
