Sean Panting's musical rip on snowclearing in St. John's
"Wake up, Mackey," sings Sean Panting in his latest satirical tune for the St. John's Morning Show.
In a tune that borrows from the Rod Stewart catalogue, Panting responds to how the City of St. John's laid off most of its snowclearing staff, just before a storm that filled city streets with snow.
Left defending the layoff decision this week was Paul Mackey, deputy city manager for public works.
