The owner of a St. John's store that specializes in seal clothing and accessories is asking the public to help catch two men who broke into his shop and stole a number of items early Saturday morning.
Always in Vogue in the downtown area was the site of a break-in around 5:30 a.m.
Owner Bernie Halloran said security camera footage showed two men throw a brick through the front window of the shop and help themselves to a number of expensive items.
"They took mostly bags, we're making new bags now, seal bags and leather bags, and they took a very nice overnight bag, all seal, and they grabbed an armful of down jackets that were in front," he said.
"These bags are anywhere from $700 to $1,500 a piece, and the jackets are roughly $600 to $700 a piece."
Halloran said this isn't the first time this has happened to his business, and he has faith the suspects will be caught.
"We're offering a pair of seal boots just if anyone can recognize these two people because although you can't see their facial images, what you can see is the clothes that they had on and they're very identifiable," said Halloran.
"You know, who knows, [through] social media somebody must have seen these people somewhere last night."
Halloran added he's offering a reward to anyone who can provide a tip about the identities of the two men.
He said there are images and details up on the company's Facebook page.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is continuing its investigation into the incident, and ask anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
