A Mary's Harbour man who is accused of being a sexual predator for more than 30 years pleaded not guilty to all charges in court on Wednesday.

Ralph Rumbolt, 52, is facing 28 sex-related charges against young girls in his hometown of Mary's Harbour.

He was convicted in 2009 on two charges of sexual assault against a teenage girl in the town and was placed on the sex offenders registry for 10 years.

Rumbolt is now facing sex-related charges dating as far back as 1981.

All of the alleged victims were under the age of 16.

A preliminary inquiry into his case is set for Oct. 29.

Rumbolt continues to live in Mary's Harbour, a community of less than 400 people, where the alleged crimes took place.
