The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has arrested two men from Quebec on fraud charges.

Police received a complaint from a business on Stavanger Drive in St. John's Thursday. They said the men were not using their own identification to purchase cellphones.

The men, 20 and 25, have each been charged with one count of fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud and personation. They were taken into custody and are scheduled to appear in court Friday.

The Constabulary's Economic Crime Unit continues to investigate. Police are asking any businesses that may have encountered two men with notable french accents who either tried to purchase or did purchase electronics to contact them.
