While there was almost no change in the price of gas on Thursday, there was a much different story for diesel fuel.

Newfoundland and Labrador's Public Utilities Board has raised the price of diesel on the island by 6.5 cents per litre. The board attributed the rise to a seasonal change in the blend being used in the fuel

In Labrador, diesel decreased by 1.1 cents per litre.

The price of gas went down by 0.2 cents per litre. There were similar decreases in furnace and stove oils.

Propane prices were also lowered, by 1.5 cents per litre.
