Preliminary inquiry ordered for woman accused of murder
Trial and hearing dates have been set for a woman accused of murder in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Wanda Ash, 34, is charged with the first-degree murder of Jason Skinner, who was killed in a rented home in April.
At a provincial court hearing on Monday, a preliminary inquiry was ordered for Ash in late January to determine whether there is enough evidence to send the matter to trial.
Pamela Pike, 31, who is also charged with first-degree murder in the case, is expected to make her next court appearance on Aug. 26.
Meanwhile, Ash will be tried in December on charges of breaching the terms of her probation.
