Pouch Cove councillors resign, tensions boil over
A town councillor in Pouch Cove said she and three others resigned over what she called a "toxic environment."
Roxanna Furlong said there have been ongoing problems within the council for months.
However, she said the final straw for her was when she became the victim of verbal attacks.
Furlong said the council met recently with municipal affairs officials to discuss a number of issues in the town, but nothing was resolved.
It remains unclear what the next move will be for the remaining councillors.
