The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary continues to investigate a suspicious fire at a St. John's thrift store and has released a video.

The footage shows the fire being started at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Kenmount Road.

Police and fire crews responded to the blaze just after midnight on Thursday.

There were no injuries reported – however the building sustained moderate damage as a result of the fire.

Police are hoping that someone will come forward with information.
