Police release video of armed robbery in St. John's

The RNC is turning to the public for help to identify armed thieves who held up a store in St. John's.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is turning to the public for help to identify armed thieves who held up a store in St. John's last month.

Police said two men entered the Irving gas station on Torbay Road on Sept. 12 around 2:20 a.m. One of the men had a knife.

The pair got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The RNC said the men were wearing hoodies and had their faces concealed at the time of the robbery.

There were no injuries during the incident.

Police said the knife believed to have been used in the crime was recovered.

The matter is still under investigation.
