Trinity-Conception RCMP is asking for the public's help regarding a break and enter at a facility in Brigus.

Police received a report on Dec. 22 that the town's recreation centre had been broken into.

The culprits entered through a side window and a number of items were stolen from the centre.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Meanwhile, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in St. John's pulled over a driver after receiving a tip from a concerned citizen on Saturday night.

The male driver, 66, was charged a short time later for impaired driving.

He was released and will appear in court at a later date.

Another tip to the RNC in Corner Brook on Saturday resulted in a man being charged.

The man, 48, was stopped on Curling Street and has been charged with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer.

The RNC is holding him in custody until he is sober, at which time he will be released to appear in court at a later date.
