The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook arrested three people early Sunday, following a break-in at a commercial business.

RNC officers responded to an alarm in the West Street area just before 2 a.m., contained the immediate area and then called for a dog unit to assist.

Two adults and a youth, all residents of Corner Brook, were arrested without incident.

Further investigation determined that two separate break and entries had taken place at separate businesses in the surrounding area.

Police said a fourth suspect has been identified, but has not yet been arrested.

The three other suspects were being held in custody to answer to charges of break and entry in provincial court on Sunday.

Police added that one of the suspects has also been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property.
