Pipe used in teen attack in St. John's
Police have charged three boys with assaulting another in the west end of St. John's on Monday evening.
One of them is accused of using a piece of pipe in the attack, which was reported around 7:30 p.m. in the Salter Place area.
The victim, 17, was treated in hospital and was later released.
Police have charged one of the three youths with assault with a weapon. The other two face charges of assault and with breaching the terms of their probation.
The trio was released from police custody on orders to appear later in court.
