Three men who may have been part of an attack near Peter's Pond involving an ice auger turned themselves into police on Tuesday.
A homeowner who lives near the pond on Botwood Highway said he was attacked on the weekend when he confronted three people who were crossing his property to go ice fishing.
Police said the homeowner was struck in the face following an altercation.
The three showed up to the RCMP detachment in Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday.
RCMP said the men are cooperating with police.
The homeowner was taken to hospital on Saturday with injuries to his face, and later released.
