Pedestrian struck in downtown St. John's
Police say a man was hit by a vehicle in downtown St. John's on Wednesday night.
It happened around 8 p.m. at the corner of Water and Adelaide Streets.
The 55-year-old man was brought to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses on the scene told CBC News that the man was hit by a taxi cab.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the investigation is ongoing.
