The Progressive Conservative leadership race heated up this week when one candidate's camp accused the two others of joining forces to keep him from winning.

John Ottenheimer's camp said Steve Kent and Paul Davis were sharing slates at the delegate selection meetings.

With just under a month left before the party selects its new leader, and the next premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, party supporters were on this week's On Point to discuss the campaigns.

Mark Lane, supporting Kent, Paul Oram, backing Davis, and Trever Taylor, supporting Ottenheimer, were on this week's panel.

CBC's Anthony Germain and The Telegram's Russell Wangersky were also featured on the media panel on this week's episode to talk about the progressing leadership race.
