North West River snowmobiler arrested for impaired driving

A 54-year-old man faces two charges of impaired driving after police pulled him over while on a snowmobile in Labrador Wednesday night.

A 54-year-old man faces two charges of impaired driving, after police pulled him over while driving a snowmobile in Labrador Wednesday night.

The RCMP arrested the man in North West River shortly before midnight.

Police said the man had over three times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.

The accused is scheduled for a court appearance in Happy Valley-Goose Bay May 13.
