Police in Corner Brook say they don't think charges are likely following a collision that involved a school bus on Monday.

A school bus collided with a car on Riverside Drive during the lunch hour.

Two children were on the bus with the driver at the time. No one was injured.

"Road conditions at the time were snow- and ice-covered and speed was not deemed to be a factor," the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said in a statement.

Police say there is no plan to lay charges under the Highway Traffic Act.

The car needed to be towed from the scene.
