Musgravetown man stabbed while walking dog
Man was treated at Dr. G.B. Cross Hospital in Clarenville and released
The RCMP said a 42-year-old man was stabbed late on Saturday night while out walking his dog in Musgravetown.
Police received a report of the assault shortly after midnight.
The stabbing happened on Main Road in the community.
According to the victim, he was approached by an unknown male driving a 4-door, dark-coloured car.
The victim was stabbed in the upper right chest area.
He was transported by ambulance to the Dr. G.B. Cross Hospital in Clarenville, where he was treated and released.
RCMP is asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information, to contact them.
