A fourth person has been charged with trafficking in cocaine in Labrador this week.

RCMP said a man, 28, from Sheshatshiu was arrested in Happy Valley-Goose Bay early Friday morning.

He's facing two counts of trafficking and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The man's arrest follows an RCMP anouncement on Wednesday that three others were arrested for the same offences. Police said the arrests were the result of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Three of the men are from Sheshatshiu. A fourth man is from Happy Valley Goose Bay.

They were released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
