A memorial service was held on Tuesday for a man who died as a result of his injuries in a fire in Torbay last week.
Fire crews found the man, 32, on the second floor of a burning house on Thursday morning.
He was the only one home at the time of the blaze.
The man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, where he later died.
Geoff Gallant, deputy mayor of Torbay, told CBC News that the town's thoughts, prayers and well-wishes are with the man's family.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
