Man delivering pizza held up in St. John's

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an armed robbery in the Freshwater Road area of the city, where a man delivering pizzas was held up around 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

Police in St. John's are investigating another armed robbery in St. John's.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to the area of Freshwater Road around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, where a man delivering pizza reported being held up by three masked persons.

The victim says all three were dressed in dark clothing, and one of the suspects was armed with an edged weapon. 

Police said an amount of cash was taken, and there were no injuries sustained. 

RNC officers and the K-9 unit attended the scene.

No arrests have been made.
