Man arrested for drunk driving after St. John's collision
A man was charged with impaired driving in St. John's on Tuesday morning after a collision on Blackmarsh Road.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said when officers tried to stop the vehicle, it crashed into a parked car.
RNC charged the driver, 44, with impaired driving, refusing the breathalyser, and driving without insurance.
The man also owed $6,000 in traffic fines.
Police impounded his car and held the man for a court appearance.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
