Lewisporte doctor charged with sexual assault
A Lewisporte doctor has been charged with four counts of sexual assault.
Dr. Rasheed Kadhem is accused of sexually assaulting a patient, with the alleged incidents dating back to January 2010.
Kadhem appeared in provincial court in Gander on Thursday.
He was released on several conditions and is due back in court on Feb. 12.
RCMP say their investigation is ongoing.
