Labrador pharmacy evacuated after threatening phone call

A threatening phone call about an explosive device shut down a drugstore in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Thursday. 

Warr's Pharmacy on Hamilton River Road was evacuated, after someone called the store and said there was an explosive device inside the building.

The caller threatened to detonate the explosive.

RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are asking anyone with information regarding Thursday's incident to contact their detachment at (709) 896-3383. (CBC)
The RCMP Explosives Disposal Unit were contacted, and worked with members of the local detachment to safely evacuate the pharmacy. 

Police said the matter is under investigation and no further information is being released.
