Jury convicts 2 key players in Operation Razorback bust
Two key players from a major drug bust in St. John's known as Operation Razorback have been convicted by a jury.
Peter Blok-Andersen and Benjamin Strongitharm were found guilty of possession for the purpose of trafficking and organized crime charges.
Strongitharm was also convicted on separate trafficking charges.
In 2010, about $927,000 worth of cocaine and marijuana and $500,000 in cash were seized following an investigation by police in St. John's and British Columbia.
Operation Razorback led to 13 arrests in January 2010.
Of those arrested, 11 have been convicted or pleaded guilty.
One person was acquitted, and another trial is still ongoing.
