A former teacher who is already serving time for child luring appeared in a Grand Falls-Windsor court on Wednesday to answer another child luring charge.

Jody Hale entered a not guilty plea over the phone to a charge of luring a child under the age of 16 via the internet.

The allegations date back to 2009.

Hale was sentenced in April to 15 months, less time served, for child luring in connection to one of his former students.

A pre-trial conference is set for Aug. 14 on the current charge. A trial date still has to be set.
