Injured fisherman hoisted from vessel at sea
Military officials used a helicopter and an Aurora reconnaissance plane to help rescue a young man who was injured on a fishing vessel off eastern Newfoundland.
The man, 23, was hoisted from the vessel and then flown to hospital to be treated for injuries. His condition was not known.
The incident happened about 220 nautical miles, or about 400 kilometres, south-southeast of St. John's.
