The St. John's IceCaps are going to warm up on the road this fall, with a series of games at three communities in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The IceCaps will play exhibition games against the Syracuse Crunch in October, before fans in Corner Brook, Stephenville and Clarenville.

The team is also holding a training camp in Corner Brook in early October to prepare for their Oct. 19 home opener.

This will be the second season for the IceCaps.

The team sold out all 46 home games and reached the Eastern Conference finals this year. They were knocked out by the Norfolk Admirals, who went on to win the Calder Cup championship.
